Sealite acquires Pelangi

Melbourne, Aus.-based Sealite has acquired Pelangi International Ltd., a privately owned marine distributor of Sealite products. It manufactures, installs, and maintains equipment from marine buoys to long-range rotating lighthouse beacons.

“Pelangi is a trusted name for supplying and servicing aids to navigation in the United Kingdom, and we’re looking forward to building on their foundations and growing the business,” said Sealite CEO Chris Procter.
Sealite’s range of navigation aids include short- and long-range LED marine lanterns; rotationally moulded buoy products up to 3m in diameter; monitoring and control systems including GSM, AIS and Radio; leading lights; UL 1104-certified and COLREG-72-compliant barge lights, bridge lights, and area lighting systems; and power systems.
