Simrad Yachting announced the Simrad IS40 instrument and OP10 autopilot control range. They provide a  4.1-inch sunlight viewable screen with an LCD display bonding process for prevention of condensation, and increased longevity and durability. The full colour screen is 800nit screen with a height of 50mm. It has a multi-lingual user interface, intuitive menus and a dedicated page key.

The IS40 is compatible with NMEA 2000 products. The Simrad IS40 can be linked with an autopilot. The IS40 instrument display can be used with the OP10 autopilot controller and it supports autopilot control for Volvo IPS drives.

“Simrad products are renowned for their high levels of system integration,” said Mike Fargo, product line director of Simrad Yachting. “The IS40 and OP10 continue to meet this standard of expectation. From monitoring engine data to controlling your autopilot and working in tandem with your chartplotter, we are confident in providing users with the best on water experience possible.”
