Bruce Schattenburg heads up Allied Marine’s new office

Bruce Schattenburg has been picked to head up Allied Marine’s new office in Ft. Lauderdale as director of luxury yacht charters. Schattenburg was most recently director of U.S. operations with Y.Co and before that was a broker with International Yacht Collection.

He will serve a dual role by expanding Allied Marine’s charter division and re-opening the Allied Marine-Ferretti Group superyacht division, focused on sales of new and pre-owned yachts over 100 feet. Allied Marine is part of the Ferretti Group.

“After admiring Bruce’s charter and sales acumen for the last 25 years, the opportunity finally presented itself for us to work together,” said Jon Burkard, President of Allied Marine. “We are really excited to get somebody of his quality, ethics and background to join our team.”
