Ninth annual World Superyacht Awards


Boat International Media has selected the finalists for its ninth annual World Superyacht Awards. The finalists will be announced May 3 at a gala in Amsterdam. The award program honors the finest new-build superyachts delivered in 2013.

The finalists are:

Displacement motoryacht 2,000GT and more: the 80m CRN M/Y Chopi Chopi, the 99m Feadship M/Y Madame Gu, the 88m Lurssen M/Y Quattroelle, and the 85m Lurssen M/Y Solange.

Displacement motoryacht 1,300-1,999GT: the 73m M/Y Axioma (ex Red Square) by Dunya Yachts, the 65.5m Delta M/Y Invictus, the 73m M/Y Odessa II by Nobiskrug, and the 62m Feadship M/Y Sea Owl.

Displacement motoryacht 500-1,299GT: the 55m Amels M/Y Engelberg, the 60m Amels M/Y Event, the 65m Heesen M/Y Galactica Star, the 50m M/Y Ileria by Proteksan Turquoise Yachts, the 50m M/Y I-Nova by Cosmo Explorer, the 58m CRN M/Y J’Ade, the 56m Azimut-Benetti M/Y Lady Candy, and the 55m Benetti M/Y Ocean Paradise.

Displacement motoryacht below 500GT: the 39m Hakvoort M/Y Apostrophe, the 37m M/Y Aurora by Pacific Asian Enterprises, the 41m M/Y Aziza by ISA Yachts, the 39m M/Y CaryAli by Alloy Yachts, the 42.5m Codecasa M/Y Vintage, the 37m Azimut-Benetti M/Y FF1, the 33.5m M/Y Heliad II by Lynx Yachts, the 45m M/Y Pride by Viudes Yachts, the 39m M/Y Safira by Newcastle Marine/Tyneside Yachts, and the 42m Moonen M/Y Sofia.

Semi-displacement or planing three-deck motoryachts 45m and larger: the 50m Heesen M/Y Crazy Me, the 50m Codecasa M/Y Framura 3, the 47m Benetti M/Y Panthera, the 48m M/Y Param Jamuna IV by Rossinavi, Cantieri di Pisa’s 46.5m Project 12, the 48m M/Y Vellmari by Rossinavi, and Vicem’s 46m Vulcan.
