Bluewater Books & Charts has signed a lease to move its store from just off 17th Street in Ft. Lauderdale to the area behind Lester’s on State Road 84.

The new location will be larger — 11,000 square feet instead of 8,000 — and offer captains and yachts an opportunity to store out-of-season charts and books in an air-conditioned area.

The store will move between the Christmas and New Year’s holidays and be open after the first of the year.

New address is: 3233 S.W. Second Ave. (33315), a few blocks farther south than National Marine Suppliers.
