Hill Robinson Yacht Management has appointed Barrett Wright as president of its U.S. office in Ft. Lauderdale. Former president Michael Reardon resigned to start his own firm.

Wright was previously senior yacht and accounts manager. She attended the University of Pennsylvania and began her professional career at Sotheby’s in 2000. She worked for a time as chef on yachts, including the 125-foot schooner S/Y Aello, and for Fontaine Design Group in Newport. She joined Hill Robinson in Florida in 2011.

In related news, the company has appointed project manager Karl H. Hartmann to its board. He has worked for the firm for eight years.
