Fraser Yachts names yacht captains, crews of the year

Fraser Yachts’ Charter Captain of the Year for 2015 is Capt. Rob Shelnut of M/Y Lady Sara.

Captain of M/Y AURELIA Guy Booth, Laurence Carlier of GMT and Lisa Peck of Fraser Yachts of Fraser’s 15th annual Captains’ Dinner held during the Monaco Yacht Show.

The brokerage firm also honored two yachts in its charter fleet. Capt. Paul Bickley and the crew of M/Y Latitude were honored as best charter crew among yachts over 50m. Capt. Guy Booth and the crew of M/Y Aurelia was named best charter crew among yachts in its fleet under 50m.

The crew were honored at Fraser’s 15th annual Captains’ Dinner held last week during the Monaco Yacht Show.

The company created a new award this year, the Roberto Migliaccio Award, named in honor of the company’s late technical superintendent and awarded to a captain, employee or someone working closely with Fraser Yachts for their outstanding level of service, loyalty and dedication.

The winner of the first Roberto Migliaccio Award is Capt. Ferdinando Tarquini of M/Y Force Blue, who has worked for the same yacht and owner for more than 10 years.
