Yacht crew make time to give back

IGY Marinas is organizing two volunteer days at its marinas around the world, and invites yacht captains and crew to participate.

On Feb. 20 at its marinas around the Caribbean and Latin America, IGY staff will volunteer at various community programs to help with things such as landscaping and building renovations.

Volunteers will help the American vocational program in St. Thomas, an elderly center in St. Maarten, an orphanage in Turks & Caicos, animal shelters, the homeless and wounded warrior programs.

IGY marinas in the United States will volunteer together on June 11.

For more information and to volunteer, visit igymarinas.com and click on “IGY gives back”.
