Dominic Tamerlano, 26, arrived in Ft. Lauderdale from Michigan a month ago and hit the docks looking for work. He said he has a 50-ton Master Captain’s License and a Towing Endorsement.

So far, the Ohio native said he dropped his resume’ off at several local crew placement services, visited boat dealerships, marinas and fishing docks. Photo by Suzette Cook
