Toiletries for yachts available

AdBits, a yacht-focused promotions company, has introduced a line of high-end spa toiletries available with the yacht’s logo and custom label design.

“For years, customers have been asking us for this,” AdBits owner Bit Grubbstrom said. “The top-quality products were not available in small sizes with custom labels at buying less than 1,000 per item. No yacht needs 1,000 small bottles each of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and so on. We found a few options for small quantity orders, but the quality of the products were not up to yachting standards.”

Valentina Probst, formerly on M/Y Fortunate Sun, kept asking for a solution and Grubbstrom recently discovered Dragonfly Valley, a small family-owned and -run company in Pennsylvania.

“They developed a line for AdBits specifically for use on yachts,” she said. “It lathers well in watermaker-produced water, and it creates less build up than other products.”

Several yachts have been testing the products, including M/Y Savannah and M/Y Fortunate Sun.

“We have had several re-orders already, because the guests love the products. The crew really appreciate that their orders arrive packaged for storage, in strong stackable plastic boxes that are well labeled.”

Dragonfly Valley will develop a signature fragrance for a yacht for an extra fee, she said.
