Feadship recently launched its new 317-foot (97m) M/Y Vertigo. Designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon and Chahan Interior Design, the steel yacht has an aluminum superstructure. It features a games deck and helicopter landing pad with a hangar below for a Bell 429 WLG helicopter.

Its custom tenders are the first to be Feadship-certified in a partnership with Tenderworks.

“Creating a rigid shape with five 10m hatches in the hull represented an enormous structural challenge,” said Feadship director Tom de Vries. “This holds especially true when you take into account that the pool is also in the aft deck. It requires an incredible level of engineering that very few yards are capable of.”

The main deck is home to a cinema and six staterooms (two VIPs), a hairdressing salon and a dedicated pantry. Two staff cabins, which can be converted into guest suites if needed, are located on the bridge deck above.

The bridge deck also features a club lounge, offices for owner and captain, and a state-of-the-art Feadship wheelhouse. It also has a pizza oven on the sun deck.

The yacht will carry 26 crew in 13 crew cabins, including four officer’s cabins, one doctor’s cabin, one pilot’s cabin, and one captain’s cabin.

French shipyard Chantier Naval Couach, which owns Couach Yachts, has recently launched the latest in its 44m fast planing, composite yacht series.
