Elario joins Northrop & Johnson

Veteran charter and sales broker Steve Elario has joined the Fort Lauderdale office of Northrop & Johnson. Originally from Newburyport, Mass., Elario started in yachting as a deckhand in the 1980s and worked his way up to captain on yachts ranging in size from 80 to 200 feet. For 17 years, he chartered worldwide and came ashore in 1999.
