Hill Robinson expands into Palm Beach

Yacht management firm Hill Robinson has opened an office in Rybovich, the megayacht shipyard just north of West Palm Beach.

“Becoming the first yacht management company onsite at this important location, this is a huge opportunity for us to grow our full-services portfolio from refit project management, technical consultancy, compliance, crew placement to full yacht management,” said Hill Robinson’s senior technical manager Chris Wright. “Setting up shop within the Rybovich facility will in turn increase the customer base both in size and capacity and subsequently provide growth opportunities for Hill Robinson in the refit and superyacht repair market.”

From left, Hill Robinson USA President Barrett Wright, Alexandre Santos, Elizabeth Tamez, Gianfranco di Constanzo, and Senior Technical Manager Chris Wright open the firm’s newest office in Rybovich shipyard.

Rybovich currently service about 300 yachts a year, the bigger yachts requiring full systems up-grades, painting and some even hull extensions. With bigger docks and dredging to 18 feet, yachts in the 80m range are expected in the future. The deep draft capability is ideal for big power and sail boats, both of which Wright already has experience.

“We are pleased to have Hill Robinson and Chris Wright onsite, bringing another addition to our pledge of exceptional customer service,” said Rybovich’s Carlos Vidueira.

The expansion brings new employees, including Gianfranco Di Costanzo, Elizabeth Tamez and Alexandre Santos.
