Cayman Registry is listed as a top performing flag in the recently released U.S. Coast Guard 2016 annual report on Port State Control.

Cayman Registry is listed in the report as having the eighth largest fleet in the world of Qualship 21-approved vessels. With a zero percent detention ratio on a three-year rolling average, Cayman Registry will continue to be approved for the U.S. Coast Guard’s Qualship 21 program, which recognizes and rewards vessels, owners and flag administrations for their commitment to safety and quality.

Only a small percentage of foreign-flagged ships that operate in the United States have earned the Qualship 21 designation.

“We are very pleased to be recognized, for the seventh year running, by the United States Coast Guard as one of the world’s leading flags,” said A. Joel Walton, CEO of Cayman Registry.
