Port St. Pete upgrades facilities

A recently completed $5 million wharf renovation in St. Petersburg has resulted in improvements to Port St. Pete, the only superyacht marina on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The facility now features a 1,200-foot pier with 23-foot depth to accommodate yachts up to 500 feet. There are six shore-power pedestals that provide up to 480-volt, 3-phase, 600 amp service. Maintenance vehicles can drive on the docks to park next to yachts to make repairs.

Port St. Pete is an International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) compliant facility, and offers on-site customs and immigration clearance, and 24-hour security. An on-site concierge service is available to meet the needs of owners, captains and crew. It’s a short walk to shops, restaurants and bars — a number of which offer discounts to visiting captains and crew. For more information, visit www.stpete.org/port.
