The third annual Waterway Soirée, which took place dockside at Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale on May 20, raised $205,000, including a $40,000 match from The Mary Jane Harlow Charitable Trust, to benefit the Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center.

More than 450 guests — including yachting enthusiasts, members of the marine industry, community and business leaders, and families assisted by the treatment center — attended the nonprofit’s signature event.

Waterway Soiree raised $205,000 for the Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center.

Attendees of the yacht hop enjoyed an evening aboard one of 10 private yachts, enjoying custom-prepared dishes from South Florida restaurants. After dinner, guests embarked on a sold-out Intracoastal Waterway cruise with an open bar, dessert and dancing to live and DJ music provided by entertainment sponsor Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center is a not-for-profit organization that serves more than 11,000 children with special healthcare needs in Fort Lauderdale’s Broward County.
