Marine lantern has AIS inside

The Sealite SL-155 series now offers high-intensity, medium-range marine lanterns with an integrated AIS system inside the lantern’s body.

The compact, single-tier lantern features low power consumption and minimal maintenance, and is now available in 2.5, 5 or 10 degree vertical distributions with a class-leading integrated Type 1 or Type 3 AIS.

When fitted, the AIS is encapsulated within the body of the SL-155 so no additional mounting or cables are required for a separate AIS unit. Supporting AIS Message 6 and Message 21, users can receive crucial information such as operation status and positioning in accurate real-time messages.
