Fort Lauderdale-based Northrop & Johnson has moved its Thailand office to the Boat Lagoon marina in Phuket.

“Northrop & Johnson Asia first opened the office in Phuket in 2012,” Bart Kimman, N&J Asia managing director, said in a company statement. “The timing coincided with a massive growth in yachting in Phuket.”

Kimman called it “one of the world’s best cruising grounds,” and said there is every indication the yachting industry will continue to grow in the region.

Boat Lagoon marina is lengthening its travel lift bay to improve hardstand facilities and, according to the company, a new 120-ton travel lift scheduled to arrive in September will be able to lift boats of up to 105 feet (32m).

The N&J Thailand office is on the marina boardwalk at #20/12 Phuket Boat Lagoon.
