After a postponement due to Hurricane Irma, a new date for the Composites and Advanced Material Expo has been set. CAMX 2017 will be held Dec. 12-14 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Now in its fourth year, CAMX was created by the American Composites Manufacturers Association and the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering to advance all aspects of the world’s composites and advanced materials industry.
Details regarding registrations, exhibit booths and conference programming are pending, but will be announced in the coming weeks. For more information, visit thecamx.org.
Original story, Sept. 11:
CAMX, the Composites and Advanced Material Expo, has been postponed because of Hurricane Irma. The expo had been scheduled to begin today at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
CAMX, launched in 2014, is co-produced by the American Composites Manufacturers Association and the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering.
“CAMX continues to be a vitally important event for our industry to do business, network, and learn from each other, but in light of the projected path of Hurricane Irma, airline cancellations, and the safety and well-being of our attendees and exhibitors, we are forced to make the difficult decision to not hold CAMX 2017 next week as planned,” ACMA President Tom Dobbins stated in a press release.
CAMX will review potential future dates later this year. For more info, visit www.theCAMX.org.
