Marina Barcelona 92 (MB92) has now taken a 75 percent stake in the shipyard company Compositeworks, with 25 percent left to shareholders. Compositeworks will continue under the current management of Benjamin Mennem as president, alongside his operational and technical team.

MB92, a megayacht refit, repair and maintenance company in the port of Barcelona, earlier this year took over the management of Blohm+Voss La Ciotat SAS, a shipyard next to Compositeworks on the Cote d’Azur.

“Together, we are now the leading and the largest repair and refit group worldwide,” Mennem said in a company statement. “We intend to make sure that using our combined synergies, we can provide an even better service to our clients in both Barcelona and La Ciotat.”
