CNI hires commercial director for Asia operation

At the recent Singapore Yacht Show, Camper & Nicholsons International announced its plans to pursue strategic development in the emerging Asian markets through Camper & Nicholsons Asia, the result of a joint venture with existing shareholder Lai Sun Development Company Limited.

Bart Kimman has been appointed commercial director and will work closely with Managing Director Carmen Lau, the company announced.

“We are delighted to welcome Bart to the Camper & Nicholsons Asia team,” Lau stated. “Bart has an extensive experience in superyacht brokerage, charter and new build. This is all enhanced through his extensive knowledge of the Asian market garnered over 20 years.”

Camper & Nicholsons International was founded in 1782 as a shipyard in Gosport, England. Today, the company is based in Monaco and has 14 offices around the world. In 2017, Camper & Nicholsons Asia was formed, with a sales team based in Hong Kong and a charter team in Thailand.
