International marina operator and developer Island Global Yachting (IGY Marinas) has added Porto Cervo marina in Sardinia to its list of properties under management. The 700-slip facility has dockage for yachts up to 525 feet (160m).

This is IGY’s second marina in the Mediterranean after Sete Marina in France, and its 19th around the world.

“Italy, and Sardinia in particular, is rich in yachting traditions and sits at the heart of the global super-yachting business,” said Tom Mukamal, CEO of IGY Marinas. “We are honored to have the opportunity to partner with the owners of Porto Cervo Marina and the historic Yacht Club Costa Smerelda to bring value to clients, customers and stakeholders.”

Porto Cervo Marina is located 130 nautical miles off the west coast of mainland Italy, on the island of Sardinia. The marina facility offers high-speed fueling, waste management, yacht services, provisioning, and world-class on-site dining and shopping.

Fort Lauderdale-based IGY Marinas’ network includes 19 marinas in 10 countries, including seven in the United States, six in the Caribbean, four in Latin America and now two in the Mediterranean. With more than 3,000 slips under management, IGY Marinas caters to a variety of markets, including sportfish, cruise, sail and megayacht. More than 350 of its slips can accommodate vessels over 80 feet (24m).
