Fort Lauderdale-based Parker Yacht Management, a tender repair company, hosted a grand opening celebration last night for its new, expanded facilities.

The 10,000-square-foot facility is designed to provide large yacht tender repairs and services. PYM repairs and refits all makes and brands of tenders, including all their electrical, electronic, re-power, bottom work, paint, gelcoat, fiberglass, fabrication, and soft goods needs. The company has certified technicians on-site and access to a full inventory of spares.

“We are extremely excited to announce the grand opening of our new facility,” said Ole Parker, founder and general manager of Parker Yacht Management. “The new facility symbolizes the work and dedication of Parker Yacht employees and will serve as the foundation for our company to grow and expand into the future.”

Parker Yacht is also part of MSHS Group.

Ole Parker, left, and MSHS President Are Friesecke celebrate at the grand opening.

“This new location signifies growth and success,” said Are Friesecke, president of MSHS Group. “I have known Ole Parker for more than 10 years and his knowledge, expertise, passion and hard work have given him the capabilities to grow Parker Yacht Management to what it is today. We are proud to have them as a member of the MSHS Group.”

Parker, a former captain, created Parker Yacht in 2001, and it has developed into a large custom yacht tender, center console, and boat repair facility that caters to the yachting and recreational fishing industry. Using the latest technology and materials, Parker Yacht also restores older fiberglass boats, keeping the boat’s classic style.

The new facilities are behind Lester’s at 240 S.W. 32nd Court (33315). For more information, visit www.parkeryacht.com.
