M/Y Dream On, a 105-foot (32m) Leopard, was reported aground at about 12:15 p.m. on June 4 inside Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. The yacht was on the rocks on the east side of the harbor near John U. Lloyd State Park, about 100 yards north of the entrance to the Dania Cut-off Canal.

The Triton received questions after a photograph of the boat on the rocks attracted much attention on Boat Owners United’s Facebook page.

A local boat towing company towed the yacht to Broward Shipyard in Dania Beach.

The cause of the incident and extent of damage have not yet been determined, according to a spokesperson at the towing company who asked to not be named while the investigation is underway. The shipyard did not confirm the yacht was on-site.
