A crew member missing from the cruise ship Norwegian Getaway was rescued 21 miles north of Cuba by another cruise ship on Sunday, according to the U.S Coast Guard.

After receiving a report on Saturday afternoon that the Norwegian Getaway crew member had gone overboard, the Coast Guard deployed two aircraft and a cutter to search an area of more than 1,630 square miles.

Nearly 24 hours later, the 33-year-old Filipino crew member was found by the cruise ship Carnival Glory in an area about 26 miles outside of the Coast Guard’s search area, according to news reports. The crew member is in stable condition, according to the USCG, and the incident is under investigation.
