The winning bidder in last Thursday’s court-ordered auction of M/Y Indian Empress has yet to pay for the 311-foot (95m) Oceanco seized in Malta in September, Superyacht Times has reported.
Ann Fenech, managing partner of Fenech & Fenech Advocates, confirmed that the winning bidder of Indian Empress is Credityacht Ltd., a company registered in Malta, according to Superyacht Times. Following the auction, the buyer has seven days to deposit the purchasing price, which means the buyer had until yesterday to pay for the yacht.
