Camper & Nicholsons International has named Fabrizio Scerch as managing director for the international yacht brokerage’s U.S. operations.

Scerch has a degree in mechanical engineering and began his career in the automotive sector before moving to the marine industry 15 years ago, according to a CNI statement. In 2013, he joined the Azimut Benetti Group, where he was responsible for the startup and development of the Azimut Grande brand. For the past five years, Scerch has worked to develop Benetti in American markets.

“With Fabrizio’s experience in the yachting industry and his knowledge of the American markets, we are confident that Fabrizio will be a valuable asset to Camper & Nicholsons USA,” stated Paolo Casani, CEO of CNI.

Scerch will be based in the company’s Fort Lauderdale office at 901 E. Las Olas Blvd.
