Chef Albuerne wins Monaco chef competition

Chef Pablo Albuerne of M/Y Tales, a 174-foot (53m) Turquoise launched in 2002, won a culinary contest for yacht chefs at the Monaco Yacht Club in April. He was awarded a Lalique crystal trophy by Prince Albert II of Monaco, who was one of the judges, and Sabrina Monteleone-Oeino, owner of a new Lalique boutique in Monaco.

The competition was organized by the Monaco Yacht Club, with the support of club chef Christian Plumail and yacht brokerage company Bluewater. There were 12 contestants, all yacht chefs from vessels over 131 feet (40m).
