Asia Superyacht Rendezvous gears up for 2016
The exquisite waters of the Andaman Sea surrounding Phuket will usher in stunning superyachts from around the world at the 16th annual Asia Superyacht Rendezvous to be held 16th – 18th December 2016.
This exclusive invitation-only event welcomes sail and power superyachts from Asia and throughout the world. All are sure to thoroughly enjoy the three full days of relaxed socialising, activities and friendly but competitive sailing races on a course marked by the motor vessels.
SailingThe sun, sail and six-star superyacht spectacular is the largest of its kind in Asia and attracts a wonderful fleet of superyachts, their owners, captains and VIP guests from around the world. The extensive gathering of superyachts provides a spectacular setting on and off the water for friendly camaraderie along with the exploration of the surrounding cruising grounds by owners and their guests.

The popular model boat racing sparks some major jousting for ‘bragging rights’ from competing superyacht teams and an incredible affair to behold and enjoy! The second day of racing is followed by the thrilling ‘Rendezvous Booty’ Pirate Treasure Hunt – on land & sea with teams comprised of crews and families.
The Rendezvous event host hotel is the international award-winning SALA Resort and Spa Phuket, a stunning five-star destination resort outstandingly situated at Mai Khao Beach, featuring private swimming pools in 63 out of 79 villas and suites with a focus on privacy. Following the 2nd day of racing, the SALA Phuket is the host for the closing cocktail party and opulent ‘VIP Gala Owners’ Dinner’, followed by dancing.
