Each year in December, the Nautic Paris Boat Show brings together all sectors of the watersports industry and becomes France’s biggest indoor port. Enjoy the world of sailing boats, motorboats, board sports, equipment, new technologies, services, rentals, tourism and fishing, all on Show at the Porte de Versailles.

This year, for the first time, the show will feature an innovation space in the center of hall 1 with about 20 products, and the Nautic Innovation Awards. Eight nominees for the product category at the Nautic Innovation Awards will be exhibited.

The second phase of the awards will take place on the Nautic Stage on Friday, Dec. 8, where each participant will present their innovation and then respond to questions from the jury and the public. Following deliberation, the jury will award the winners.

The nominees for the ‘Product Innovation’ category are*:

Inflatable sailing wing – Next Technologie, an inflatable sail on a telescopic mast
Foiling rib – Seair, the first foiling application on a boat designed for all audiences
E-Wincher – Chrysadev, a real winch handle, albeit with electric assistance
Piloting of a boat for disabled users – Splashelec
Bab s’o – Outils Ocean beacon, comprehensive locating system without electronics
U-Foiler – UFO Foiler, small foiler accessible to all
Electric tender – Zodiac Marine, first jet-propelled electric tender
3DI – North Sails, race application for cruising: 3D sails finally accessible for all

The nominees for the ‘Service Innovation’ category are:

Zodiac Connected Boat – Rib, which connects your boat to your smartphone
Sportihome, AirBnB for outdoor sports enthusiasts
Largowind, system for remote surveillance of your mooring or anchorage
Bénéteau boat club, a simple subscription to pilot a Bénéteau anywhere in Europe
Nautic Concept, module for monitoring all the on-board sensors
Ekosea, crowdfunding platform dedicated to boating and its environment
Le Cargo, the marketplace for marine equipment launched by Gérard d’Aboville
Float, application for sharing yachts, per cabin, per berth or per day…
