Our Coasts, Our Future, Our Choice December 10-15, 2016, New Orleans, LA

Join the largest national summit in 2016, focused on coastal restoration, science, and management practices

Program Spotlight: Outreach, Education, Engagement, and Partnerships

Coastal restoration and management must include people, communities, and partners in order to succeed. That’s often easier said than done. Come to the Summit, where your colleagues will share their success and lessons learned. The sessions, presentations, and posters will provide valuable insight and tools you can use to make your programs and projects more effective. The Summit program will feature a wide range of topics – here are just a few:

Best practices in education: K through grey
Engaging faith-based groups
How to reach out to audiences and craft successful messages
Using technology in outreach and education
How to employ social media
Incorporating art in outreach and education
Partnering with non-traditional partners to achieve goals
Recruiting and retaining volunteers
How best to incorporate and collaborate with diverse constituencies
….and much, much more!
We’d love to have your work featured so make plans to submit a proposal. Check out the Call for Proposals for all the details. Submittal deadline is May 2.
