Triton Expo

On Oct. 12th, The Triton is once again hosting its popular expo for the people who earn their livings working on yachts.

The Expo is open to yacht crew and industry -- both working and looking -- to help them develop the contacts that can make their careers better.

Expo

The Triton Expo will run from 5-8 p.m. and feature exhibits from 30 companies that offer goods and services yacht crew need. Stay afterward for a free screening of Captain Ron, the hilarious comedy from the 1990s featuring Kurt Russell as a hired captain in the Caribbean.

Enjoy food from Panaretto Pizzeria and Nacho Bizness, and a donation bar. All proceeds benefit the Marine Industry Cares Foundation.

Location

This Fall's Triton Expo is free and will be held at The Sails Marina on the southeast corner of the ICW and the 17th Street bridge. Transportation is available free from Waxy's Irish Pub on 17th Street, courtesy of Da Yachty Bus.

Purpose of the Expo Triton Expo is an opportunity for yacht crew -- working and not, young and older -- to gather, meet, learn from each other and networking with the businesses that can make their lives aboard easier. Throughout the day, speakers will offer attendees advice, real-world suggestions and insight into different facets of the yacht crew experience.
