Companies around the show hold raffles to get new customers. Several of these may be of interest to crew.

FCI Watermakers will raffle an iPad to eligible participants who visit its booth (441-442). FCI Watermakers offers a line of framed and modular watermakers, including the FCI Neptune Wall Mount system, which is less than a foot in depth. (www.fciwatermakers.com)

Bradford Marine raffles off a haul out and bottom job every year. This year, its added a prize for the captain, too: a new iPad. Deadline to enter is Monday at 5 p.m. The vessel can’t be larger than 140 feet. Stop by the yard’s booth in the Yacht Builders tent, booth 624-625 or fill out an entry form at www.bradford-marine.com. One entry per vessel. Sponsored by Interlux Yacht Paint.

West Marine is having a raffle every day at its booth, No. 179, in the 100-200 tent. A winner will be drawn each day at 5 p.m. Prizes include: today, a Lowrance HDS-7 Gen2 Touch, a touch screen display for fish finding (value of $1,549.99); tomorrow, a FLIR handheld night vision thermal imager ($1,999.99); and Monday, a Go Pro camera ($299.99).

Though there’s no raffle here, the info sounds interesting. Every day at 11am, 2pm and 5pm, Phantom Services will offer yacht security and anti-piracy systems demos aboard M/Y Phantom, a 62-foot Azimut, F/G Dock 16.”
