Delta T hires HVAC veteran Bob Miller

South Florida-based Delta “T” Systems has hired HVAC veteran Bob Miller as HVAC specialist of the new Delta “T” Complete vessel ventilation program. His goal is to set a new standard of reliability in marine heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and to give builders a one-stop shop for all of their vessels’ ventilation requirements, including engine room ventilation, HVAC, galley and head ventilation and unmanned space ventilation.

Miller takes the general arrangement (GA) vessel drawing and performs a heat gain/loss analysis on the vessel’s interior spaces, then designs a custom HVAC system. Delta “T” Systems’ application engineers design the remainder of the vessel’s ventilation systems.

After nine years of submarine service in the U.S. Navy, Miller worked all facets of HVAC systems, fromengineering to servicing. He also work a stint as engineer on a 127-foot auxiliary ketch. Most recently, he helped develop the AC and refrigeration shop at Viking Yachts Service Center in Riviera Beach, Fla.
