Yard gets bigger lift

Roscioli Yachting Center on the New River in Ft. Lauderdale has added a 352-ton (320 metric ton) mobile boat hoist, giving it the biggest lift on the river. The lift is fabricated by Cimolai Technology in Italy, the same company that delivered the 900-ton lift to Derecktor last year.

Once hauled, the yard offers eight undercover sheds for vessels up to 150 feet, all with A/C hookups, private bathrooms and storage. The yard is seven miles inland from Port Everglades.
