South Florida ports busiest

Port Everglades was listed as the world’s second-busiest cruise port, according to a story in the Sun-Sentinel. The Ft. Lauderdale seaport had a record 3.88 million multi-day cruise passenger moves in fiscal 2014, which ended Sept. 30, second only to PortMiami’s 4.8 million over the same period.

Port Canaveral, the Brevard County seaport that serves the Orlando market, came in third with 3.86 million.
