West Marine offers grants

California-based West Marine is now accepting applications for its Marine Conservation Grants program in which it awards up to 10 grants up to $5,000 for projects that enhance fish populations, including those that engage anglers in data collection, enhance marine habitats,and educate anglers about fish barotrauma.

Applications are available at www.westmarine.com/bluefuture. The closing date for entries is May 1. Winners will be announced on World Oceans Day, which is June 8.
