Legendary basketball coach Bobby Knight will present the keynote speech at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), taking place Sept. 29-Oct. 2 in Tampa.

Knight will speak about winning at the annual breakfast on Sept. 30 at 7:30 a.m.

“Bob Knight’s impressive record on and off the basketball court illustrates his dedication to his team and the game, all values that will resonate with our attendees who will be inspired by his drive to succeed,” said Thom Dammrich, president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association, which produces the show.

Knight, who is also an avid fisherman, is best known for his nearly 30 years coaching the Indiana Hoosiers to three national championships. In 1984, he coached the U.S. men’s basketball team to Olympic gold.

In addition to the keynote address, the breakfast will also include the announcement of the winners of the IBEX Innovation Awards honoring technological advancement. Deadline for entries this year is Aug. 29.

IBEX will feature more than 500 exhibitors in the convention center, on the docks and in the water. The show also will have more than 50 education sessions and workshops. For more information, visit www.ibexshow.com.
