Oculus introduces virtual engine room app

Oculus Technologies offers the Engine Room App for a virtual and interactive look into the yacht’s technology. The virtual onboard engine room shows a 3D model of the entire engine room with real-time moving parts, infographics, videos and animations. The user selects systems to monitor including propulsion, water purification, power distribution, structural parts and more. With system feedback on all parameters of usage and run-time data, this can also be used to monitor systems.

The Engine Room App is a stand alone solution and is also compatible with Oculus Technologies’ products including YachtEye. It can be integrated into the YachtEye module packages for customers with existing installations can be customized. Visit www.oculustechnologies.nl for more details.
