The Marine Industries Association of South Florida kicked off its first partnership with Habitat for Humanity in October. Beginning in January, MIASF will join the new construction project of two townhomes for families in Ft. Lauderdale. As a home sponsor, MIASF will cover the cost of construction and volunteer alongside partner families. Habitat for Humanity of Broward is a non-profit housing ministry that has built more than 360 homes in partnership with low and very-low income families. PHOTO PROVIDED
