MPT gathers for American Heart Association

Students, staff and supporters of Maritime Professional Training (MPT) sported their best red to help raise money for the American Heart Association’s South Florida chapter on Tuesday night in honor of American Heart Month (February). Dozens of guests mingled at Bimini Boatyard in Ft. Lauderdale, enjoyed snacks and shared their passion for the industry and school. PHOTOS/LUCY REED

 

Update March 10, 2015: In honor of American Heart Month in February, Maritime Professional Training (MPT) hosted its inaugural “I Heart MPT Red Passion Fundraiser” benefiting the American Heart Association (AHA) Greater Miami-Fort Lauderdale Chapter. The first annual fundraising event was hosted February 3 at Bimini Boatyard Bar & Grill in Fort Lauderdale. MPT donated $10 for each guest who attended, dressed in their very red best, with overall funds raised for the evening totaling $2,500 and donated to the AHA Greater Miami-Fort Lauderdale Chapter.
