“Bozburun” Port of Entry to Turkey re-opening in 2015

The Turkish port of Bozburun is expected to reopen this season for clearance procedures, according to C2C Yachting, yacht agents based in Turkey.

Bozburun, 45km from Marmaris, is the closest point of entry from the Greek island of Symi (9nm) and was a popular entry point. Entry there was unavailable last season due to “repressive requests” from customs toward the town, C2C reports.

“Apparently, all parties come to a mutual understanding and the port will be active for clearance procedures to visiting yachts in 2015,” C2C reports in its latest update.
