Horizon building new model: FD85

Horizon Yachts has introduced a new model: the Horizon FD85 fast displacement motoryacht. Developed by yacht designer Cor D. Rover and Horizon’s in-house naval architecture team, the Horizon FD85 features a vertical bow design, which gives it more volume and fits five staterooms, including a full beam master on deck. Its hull form is efficient at a slow cruise of 10 knots and transitions into a faster cruise of 16 knots while maintaining efficiency. It will debut at the Taiwan International Boat Show in March.
Founded in 1987, Horizon Yachts builds yachts from 52 to 150 feet.
