Yacht hop features themes from Mexican Cantina to Great Gatsby

Newport — More than half a dozen yachts displayed their charter best and welcomed brokers and guests aboard during Wednesday night’s yacht hop. From a Great Gatsby-era Speakeasy to a Mexican Cantina, crew continue to shine, even after a day of competitions, broker lunches and tours. Capt. Ken Gibson of M/Y Wendy1 even entertained guests by playing guitar in a live concert with guitarist Roger Karr of the Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band and Denny Shea of Nicholson Yachts on fiddle. We had a blast performing our Great Gatsby show aboard the super yacht ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM in Newport, RI. Jerry and Doug The Talking Dog attempted to sing “Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue” WITH the Boston piano legend Ted Knowlton… and the crowd especially loved dancing the Charleston! We may also be available for your next event. Find DriscollProduction on facebook or the web. Call/text Kevin24x7: 617-901-6232
