Faravelli to lead Sea-Fire tech support

Sea-Fire Europe Ltd, a distributor of marine fire detection and suppression systems in Europe, has hired fire engineering and safety professional Alberto Faravelli to lead the company’s technical support division. His responsibilities include engineering marine fire safety systems in the pre-sale and planning phase, as well as continued technical assistance to clients, according to the company.

Faravelli previously worked for Marioff and Minimax SRL, and has engineered fire protection and HVAC systems for the maritime, civil, industrial, and oil and gas industries.

“He’s been in the industry for quite some time and brings extensive experience to his role; he’ll be a great asset to the company and our customers,” Sea-Fire Europe Managing Director Ernie Ellis said of Faravelli in a company statement.

Faravelli is based in Genoa, Italy, and will work with Sea-Fire’s distributor for Italy, Indemar S.P.A.

Sea-Fire Marine, a division of Metalcraft Inc., is a Baltimore, Maryland-based company that designs fire detection and suppression systems and manufactures fire extinguishers and other safety equipment for commercial and recreational vessels worldwide. For more information, visit www.sea-fire.com.
