CN Marinas expands to Edinburgh

Camper & Nicholsons Marinas has announced an agreement with Edinburgh Marina Granton Harbour Ltd. to design, commission, manage and operate a new marina in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The centerpiece of a 500-million-pound development, the Edinburgh Marina will comprise 315 fully serviced berths able to accommodate yachts up to 148 feet (45m), according to Laura Harrison, communications and marketing manager at Camper & Nicholsons Marinas Ltd.

The marina will also have a fully serviced boatyard and dry-stack operation.

The marina site is 2.5 miles (4km) northwest of central Edinburgh, 12 miles (16km) from the bridges over the Firth of Forth, and 8 miles (12km) from Edinburgh International Airport, with transportation options via road, rail and sea. With the Edinburgh Marina Spa and Conference Hotel next door, yacht owners will have access to food and drink service, concierge services, and the hotel spa and gym, according to a Camper & Nicholsons news release.

Camper & Nicholsons has planned, developed and operated marinas in more than 25  countries. The company’s most recent project has been the refurbishment and management oversight of St. Katharine Docks Marina in London.
