South African found dead in room at Atlantis in The Bahamas

Carla Van Eeden was found dead in a hotel room at Atlantis on Paradise Island in The Bahamas on May 18. She was 25.

The incident, reported as a suicide, is being investigated by local police and an attorney hired by the family, according to The Herald in South Africa. The article states she had been working on a yacht, but was taking time off and that she had arrived in the islands on May 14.
