The Triton joins Turquoise Takeover for lung cancer research

The Triton has joined in the mission with The American Lung Association’s Lung Force initiative during Turquoise Takeover and National Women’s Lung Health Week (May 6-12). The mission is set to inspire communities to raise their voices for lung cancer research innovation that will lead to better methods of early detection and new treatment options.

Here’s how you can help:

Share Your Story

Turquoise Takeover with The Triton

Turquoise Takeover is a time to make our voices heard. Your story is powerful — tell your friends and family on Facebook about the moment you decided lung cancer wouldn’t define you. And remember to support fellow Heroes by sharing and liking their posts. You can also go the extra mile and ask your Facebook network to donate. It’s easy — before you hit ‘post’ on your LUNG FORCE story on Facebook, select the “Support Nonprofit” option, search for LUNG FORCE and a “Donate” button will automatically be added to your post.

Show Your Turquoise Spirit
Wear turquoise and show off with a daily #TurquoiseTakeover selfie. You can also add our Turquoise Takeover frame to your Facebook profile picture. And don’t forget to tell your friends that you are turning turquoise to support the fight against lung cancer.

Say Thanks and Donate

Triton’s Turquoise Takeover

We are excited to share that as the national presenting sponsor of LUNG FORCE, CVS Health® will once again be supporting our Turquoise Takeover with a fundraising campaign. From May 6–26, 2018, you can donate $1, $3 or more at the CVS Pharmacy® register to support lung cancer awareness, education and research. This year, visit a CVS Pharmacy to tell the cashiers your story, thank them for their support and inspire them to encourage their customers to donate.

Participate in an Event
Across the country, we are hosting walks, receptions, turquoise cocktail hours and more. Contact your local staff member for more information on how you can help out or share your story at a local event — during Turquoise Takeover or year-round.
