Broker sentenced for stealing $1.5 million


Keegan Garner, vice president of sales in the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, office of Denison Yacht Sales, was sentenced last week to 2 1/2 years in prison for embezzling $1.5 million from the company, the Palm Beach Post reported.

Robert Denison, president of the family-owned Dania Beach-based yacht company, discovered in March 2017 that for three years Garner had been moving money from the company’s escrow accounts into his personal bank accounts.
