Cotton Crews, a South Florida crew placement agency, recently acquired the Crew Compass Hire and Crew Compass Jobs apps, and has launched revamped versions of both apps as Cotton Crew Hire and Cotton Crew Jobs.

According to the company, the Cotton Crew Hire app allows captains and managers to search crew by position, years of experience, qualifications and several other features. The app also gives yachts easy access to dayworkers in their area.

The Cotton Crew Jobs app connects yacht crew with captains and hiring managers in real time. Using the app, crew can build a profile within minutes and get instant job alerts.

“We are passionate about people and connecting them to their dream job,” stated Lauren Cotton, founder and president of Cotton Crews.

According to Cotton, the company is renaming its boutique crew placement service as Cotton Crew Club. The Club provides access to a placement specialist who will review CVs, check references, coordinate interviews and help throughout the hiring process. Cotton Crews also houses more than 200 crew in West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale.

The Cotton Crew Hire and Cotton Crew Jobs apps are available free on Apple iTunes and Google Play store. For more information, visit cottoncrews.com.

Crew Compass founder and CEO Hana Jung stated that Crew Compass will continue its mission to help new yacht crew enter the industry through free email courses, e-book and yacht CV design services. It provides free online resources for aspiring and existing yacht crew on its website at crewcompassapp.com.
